Neath are proud to be hosting Wales v Cook Islands in 2013 World Cup. Neath is the most historic town in Welsh rugby. The first game of rugby in Wales was played here in 1864 – Neath v Swansea - the outcome was disputed. Plus the inaugural meeting of the WRU took place at Neath’s Castle Hotel on 12th March 1881.

By Road


Exit the M4 at junction 43 and follow the A465 into the town. At the roundabout, follow the signs to Cimla and Pontrhydyfen. At the traffic lights, go straight ahead until you approach a second roundabout. The Gnoll is directly ahead.

By Bus

 

The bus station is approximately 5 mins walk from The Gnoll.

 

By Rail


Neath Railway Station is approximately 10 minutes walk from The Gnoll (taxis are available). As well as regular regional railway services, the Intercity 125 service from London runs direct to Neath
