Biography

Issac was on the interchange bench when the Kiwis won both the 2008 World Cup and the 2010 Four Nations. He has since secured the Kiwis starting hooker spot and will be doing everything to hold onto that throughout RLWC2013.

With Issac controlling things from dummy half, the South Sydney Rabbitohs have enjoyed their best season in recent history. Issac’s work has laid the platform for the likes of the Burgess brothers, Roy Asotasi and Jeff Lima to make their metres.

Issac made his NRL debut for the Rabbitohs in 2007 and was runner up to Israel Folau in the Dally M rookie of the year. With almost 150 NRL appearances behind him now, along with over 20 Tests, he is one of the senior players in the Kiwis.

From the small Taranaki town of Hawera, Issac is a father of three and a sharp guitarist.
