Biography

Frank-Paul, also known as The Wrecking Ball, is a hard running prop or second-rower.

He played for the Kiwis in the Four Nations tournaments of 2009 and 2010, coming off the bench in the Kiwis final win in the latter.

Frank-Paul has played over 100 NRL games since his 2007 debut. He has been part of a strong Kiwi contingent in the Sydney Roosters forward pack this year, alongside Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Sonny Bill Williams.

As a youngster, Frank-Paul played for Auckland’s Mangere East Hawks. Other Kiwis from the club include the legendary stand-off Olsen Filipaina, along with Ali Lauitiiti and Lesley Vainokolo. New Zealand’s maddest rugby league supporter Sir Peter Leitch (AKA The Mad Butcher) is also closely aligned with the club.

Frank-Paul is from a big Kiwi family that blends Samoan, Solomon Island and Chinese bloodlines.
