From a well-known Auckland rugby league family, Fisiiahi was given a brief taste of NYC football in 2009 making three appearances before becoming a first-choice player in 2010 when he helped the Vodafone Junior Warriors to the NYC premiership. He scored 20 tries in 26 matches, finishing up with 22 in 29 NYC games. Upgraded to a full NRL contract, he was a standout peformer in the preseason trials, earning his NRL debut in the first match of the season against Parramatta. Injury kept him out of the next two games but he returned with a two-try player of the day display in the club's first win of the season against Cronulla in Taupo on April 3 only to be sidelined with injury after the next match against the Sydney Roosters. When he recovered he worked his way back with the Auckland Vulcans in the New South Wales Cup where his electrifying pace was again to the fore. He had a game back in the NRL playing on the wing against North Queensland but has been turning out for the Vulcans again since then. 'Fish' is a product of Wesley College where he was the school's sports dux in 2008 (and played rugby union). He likes butter chicken and is a fan of the television programme Home and Away. My Sister's Keeper is his favourite movie and his preferred music is R&B and soul.
