Biography

At just 23, Kieran has already steered his Manly Warringah Sea Eagles club to an NRL premiership and captained the Kiwis.

Kieran played for the Ellerslie Eagles as a youngster and has long been noted as a player likely to reach the top. He made his Kiwis debut in late 2009 as a 19yo in the centres. But it’s in the halves that he has cemented his standing as one of the best, and toughest, in the game.

Injury ruled Kieran out of the 2010 Four Nations and, with the Kiwis underperforming in 2011, he will be looking for a big performance on the international stage in RLWC2013. His game has developed this year, with input at club level from the Kangaroos legend Andrew Jones.

Kieran’s standing within the Kiwis was acknowledged when he was handed the captaincy for the 2013 ANZAC Test, following the late injury withdrawal of Simon Mannering.
