Biography

With a background as a touch rugby star, Shaun has the ability to call on a host of tricks to out-fox the opposition.

The half-back first came to national prominence in the Vodafone Warriors under 20 team - with Andrew Johns quickly among his biggest fans. Shaun was in the Junior Warriors team that won the 2010 NYC competition and he played for the Junior Kiwis that year also. The following year he helped the Warriors to the NRL grand final.

In 2012, Shaun debuted for the Kiwis at Eden Park and scored an 80m intercept try. He missed a spot in the end of season Test in Townsville, but he was back for the 2013 ANZAC Test in Canberra.

As one of the quickest players in the game, Shaun is a danger from anywhere on the field. He was the Warriors equal-top try scorer in 2012.

Shaun is almost certainly the only Kiwi player ever of Laotian descent
