Cooks squad seeks an upset

Cook Islands head coach David Fairleigh has named an initial squad ahead of Rugby League World Cup 2013 containing an exciting mix of emerging and established stars from the Super League and the NRL.

Catalan Dragons star Zeb Taia, Bradford's Keith Lulia and Wigan's Anthony Gelling should already be familiar faces to supporters in the UK, while Sydney Roosters squad members Dylan Napa and Tinirau Arona, Canberra's Jordan Rapara and Penrith's Jeff Daniela will add further experience to the side.

Cook Islands face USA at the Memorial Stadium in Bristol on October 30, Tonga at Leigh Sports Village on November 5 and Wales at The Gnoll in Neath on November 10.
