Four Nations success for English Lions
The English Lions clinched the Community Game Four Nations crown in style on Saturday (11th August).
It was the first international Rugby League match at County Limerick’s Bruff RFC, but the Irish Wolfhounds failed to trouble the scoreboard as England romped home 38-0.
Ince Rose Bridge half-back Tony Baker was man-of-the-match.

Rivalries re-born in the USA
The 2012 American National Rugby League’s Atlantic Conference season reaches its climax this weekend with a repeat of last year’s Grand Final showdown between the New York Knights and the Connecticut Wildcats.
It’s the Wildcats’ seventh Grand Final appearance and they’ll be determined to banish memories of their 38-4 hammering at the hands of the Knights in 2011.
AMNRL’s 15th Grand Final concludes a season that began in Philadelphia back in March with the annual St Patrick’s Day Donnybrook Cup clash between the Irish Wolfhounds and the USA the Tomahawks.
Will young Bobo make his mark at RLWC2013?
Another member of Fiji’s famous sporting Bobo family is catching the eye ahead of next year’s Rugby League World Cup.
18 year old Sikeli Bobo scored two tries and kicked three goals as the Burenitu Cowboys defeated Nakauvadra Roosters in the island’s Ra Vanua Challenge.

NRL for PNG?
Former Papua New Guinean international and current selector Arnold Krewanty is spearheading his country’s preparations for a place in Australia’s NRL.
Krewanty, who also played for Newcastle Knights in 1989, has joined the team responsible for laying the foundations for PNG’s anticipated entry into the Queensland Cup.
In the countdown to RLWC2013, the Kumuls will take on the Australian Prime Minister’s XIII in September and South Sydney Rabbitohs – the Sydney side’s ‘Return to Redfern’ pre-season curtain raiser.
